Umbra always seems to have fun and different things. Their new Anywhere Telescoping Curtain System enables you to hang a curtain, tapestry or other decorative cloth nearly anywhere.  (The site does not say what the weight limit is however I assume that  you could not hang a heavy oriental rug….I would call their customer service before ordering if that is what you had in mind.)

The nickel-colored hardware uses tension to stabilize itself as a window treatment or room divider. The swing-arm rod is height adjustable for a wide range of space solutions. I can picture one or two of these dividing off a desk/office area from the rest of your living space if you do not have a separate room for your office. Imagine the uses!! Especially if you are a renter and do not want to put in anything permanent.

Each unit is height adjustable from 70-120″. The swing arm adjusts in length from 20″ - 36″ and its height is adjustable to fall between 70″ - 120″. This is a very versatile piece of hardware! A single unit is $94.50 from Umbra.
