Do you have a home office that occasionally needs to function as a guest bedroom? A great solution is a Murphy bed. The new designs are not your grandma’s Murphy beds!! Take a look at the Chalkboard Murphy Bed, at WW Beds. It is a free-standing Murphy bed cabinet with a chalkboard surface on the “bottom” of the bed. Its freestanding design means it can be used where a Murphy bed might be desirable but built-in’s aren’t feasible.
The beds are available in twin and queen sizes. Want the sides finished in cork or peg board? They can do that, too.
WWbeds also has Murphy beds built into free-standing cabinets that would look beautiful in any office. If they do not have something that you like, google ‘murphy beds’ and browse the 1 million hits you will get. Expect to pay anywhere from $1100 to $3000.

Horaayy..there are 2 comment(s) for me so far ;)
I could never imagine someone sleeping in my office, simply because I’m in there, at times, day and night. There was a time though, years ago when the guest room doubled as the office, and the only thing that ever slept on the bed were all of my papers, some boxes, and other little what-nots I couldn’t find another place for.
Dear Dave:
Wondering if you ever need a place to nap since you are in your office day & nite? {grin} Or are you just a real live work-a-holic?
These beds would work well for those occasional hard earned naps PLUS would not collect the usual clutter when they were NOT being used!
