This Trunk Station from Japan would really work well in a small space or if you wanted an office/work space that you could close up and roll away when you were done. This might work really well for a child or teen’s homework space also.
The approx 3′W x 2′D x 4′H sized melamine trunk opens to reveal an efficient work space, complete with pre-drilled holes for electrical and component wires/cables, a fold out desk, and plenty of shelving for a whole lot of extras. Available in black, red, white and maple exterior finishes.
This cool little work space comes at a hefty price though: around $1,900 converted from yen and that doesn’t include the shipping! However with a little skill, I think you could make one either totally from scratch or from ready-made white melamine closet/organizational pieces found at many department stores for MUCH cheaper!
