One of my most favorite and most useful sites/resources on the web is Microsoft’s Office Template Gallery. There is no reason to waste time re-creating the wheel when you can find a partially finished one or a template on the web telling you how to do it.
The free Template Gallery has thousands of templates for all kinds of things. The one drawback is that you have to be using Microsoft products to be able to download these templates. Each one tells you which Microsoft program you need to have before downloading.
During June and July, I will be picking out some of my favorites and sharing them with you all.
Just a few of the categories that have some valuable templates are:
Agendas
Award certificates
Brochures
Budgets
Business cards
Calendars
Content slides
Contracts
Databases
Diagrams
Envelopes
Expense reports
Faxes
Floor plans
Flyers
Forms
Gift certificates
Greeting cards
Inventories
Invitations
Invoices
Labels
Letters
Lists
Memos
Minutes
Newsletters
Plans
Planners
Postcards
Presentations
Purchase orders
Receipts
Reports
Resumes and CVs
Schedules
Statements
Stationery
Time sheets

This is an excellent tip, ReAnn! As a Virtual Assistant, I’m constantly using these templates in order to save myself time and my client money. You can change the templates to fit your need more closely and to add logos and such. I’m looking forward to seeing your favorites
