Employment Laws and Posters

 If youwork in or  run a business, two to three times a year you get solicited by official looking mail outs saying you MUST buy and post this or that fancy employment law poster.  Don’t do it!

The free U.S.  Dept of Labor’s FirstStep Employment Law Advisor site is designed to help employers determine which federal employment laws administered by the U.S. Department of Labor (DOL) apply to their business or organization, what recordkeeping and reporting requirements they must comply with, and which posters they need to post.

The Advisor can help all employers, including non-profit organizations, private sector businesses and government agencies.  The site includes links to free printable posters.
